Stunning start for Allardyce

Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce made a stunning return to his old club Bolton as his team opened up a 3-0 lead at half-time in their opening Premier League match.

The Magpies forged ahead when French midfielder Charles N’Zogbia’s free-kick from wide on the right evaded everybody in the box and curled inside Jussi Jaaskelainen’s far post after 10 minutes.
