Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson believes that interference from agents could be behind Gabriel Heinze’s desire to leave the club.

Unsettled Heinze has been the subject of interest from United’s rivals Liverpool in recent weeks, with Rafael Benitez believed to have bid around £7m for the Argentina defender, thereby meeting a valuation agreed between player and club.
