Tevez closes in on United move

Carlos Tevez is due to undergo a medical in Venezuela later today as Manchester United close in on a deal for the West Ham striker which could eventually be worth in excess of £30m.

If all goes to plan, an announcement that a deal has been agreed between Tevez’s adviser Kia Joorabchian and the Barclays Premier League champions could be made later today.
