No return for Bellamy

Craig Bellamy is still not ready to figure in Liverpool’s squad following the knee injury he sustained against PSV Eindhoven a week ago, and he will miss out on tomorrow’s home Barclays Premiership game with Middlesbrough.

That leaves the Welsh striker with only Saturday’s home game with Wigan to prove his fitness ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Rafael Benitez otherwise has a full squad to chose from, apart from injured trio Luis Garcia, Harry Kewell and Fabio Aurelio.

Provisional squad: Reina, Finnan, Arbeloa, Carragher, Hyypia, Agger, Riise, Pennant, Gerrard, Sissoko, Alonso, Mascherano, Fowler, Crouch, Kuyt, Gonzalez, Dudek, Zenden.
