Steven Gerrard is hoping to complete a “special week” by helping England to victory in Saturday’s crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against Israel.

Steven Gerrard is hoping to complete a “special week” by helping England to victory in Saturday’s crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against Israel.

The Liverpool captain visited Buckingham Palace yesterday to collect the MBE he was awarded in the New Year Honours List and revealed how the Queen told him to “keep doing what I’ve been doing”.
