Ireland to play Danes in August
The Republic of Ireland will play Denmark in a senior international friendly on August 22 in Aarhus, Denmark.
This will be the 13th meeting between the two sides.
Current manager Stephen Staunton was the captain for their last game in Dublin in 2002 when Ireland won 3-0 with goals from Ian Harte, Robbie Keane and Clinton Morrison.
"The Denmark game is at the start of the new season, so it is a good opportunity to get the lads together ahead of the remaining qualifiers," said Staunton.
The FAI is trying to line up other friendlies but nothing has yet been agreed.
