Leeds complete Wise move

Coca-Cola Championship strugglers Leeds tonight confirmed former England midfielder Dennis Wise as their new manager.

Swindon last night gave permission for Wise and his County Ground assistant Gus Poyet to begin negotiations with the Coca-Cola Championship strugglers.

Talks were swiftly concluded and both Wise and Poyet, who becomes his Elland Road number two, will start work tomorrow.

Also joining Leeds is goalkeeping coach Andrew Beasley.
