World Cup winner Gennaro Gattuso has promised Rangers chairman David Murray he will return to Ibrox one day.

Gattuso was only 19 when then Light Blues manager Walter Smith brought him to Govan from Perugia and the midfielder quickly became a cult hero with the fans because of his never-say-die spirit.
