Baros set to start for Villa
Striker Milan Baros could make his first start of the season for Aston Villa in Wednesday’s Carling Cup tie at Scunthorpe.
The Czech Republic international has been eased slowly back into first-team action via the substitutes’ bench after suffering a foot injury during the World Cup.
Baros could take over from Luke Moore, who picked up a slight knee problem during the goalless draw at Watford on Saturday.
Defender Aaron Hughes is back in contention after missing the trip to Vicarage Road with a stomach virus.
