Cisse could return to France

Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse admits his Anfield days could be numbered and hopes to sort out his future as soon as possible.

Cisse, speaking to reporters at France’s World Cup training base at Clairefontaine, admitted that he had been in contact with three leading French clubs.

The 24-year-old said: “I am in contact with Marseille and Lyon and I have also had an approach from Paris St Germain.

“I want to decide very quickly.”

Cisse has struggled to win a permanent place at Liverpool since his £14million move from Auxerre in 2004.
