Dyer gives Magpies a lift

Kieron Dyer has returned to training with Newcastle after missing three games and ended fears he was facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines with hamstring trouble.

Dyer returned to action last month after five months out but was then sidelined again and now Newcastle caretaker manager Glenn Roeder insists he will not rush the 27-year-old England midfielder.
