The new Manager of the Republic of Ireland Stephen Staunton has confirmed newspaper reports that Ireland's next match will come in May against Chile.

The new Manager of the Republic of Ireland Stephen Staunton has confirmed newspaper reports that Ireland's next match will come in May against Chile.

And Staunton has also joined in the general praised for debutants Joey O'Brien, Kevin Doyle, Stephen Ireland and Wayne Henderson for their displays against Sweden on Wednesday night.
