Van Nistelrooy worry for United

Ruud van Nistelrooy could be struggling to win his Manchester United starting spot back after pulling out of Holland’s friendly win over Ecuador last night with a stomach complaint.

Van Nistelrooy was a shock omission from the United side that beat Wigan in last weekend’s Carling Cup Final and did not even get on as a substitute as the Red Devils romped to a 4-0 win.
