Vidic set for United bow

New signing Nemanja Vidic could make his Manchester United debut in tomorrow’s FA Cup replay with Burton Albion at Old Trafford.

The Serbian has had almost two weeks of solid training since completing his £7m move from Spartak Moscow and given Alex Ferguson’s dissatisfaction with his side’s defensive performance in Saturday’s derby defeat at City, it would be no surprise if Vidic started against the non-leaguers.
