Scholes boost for United

Paul Scholes returns from suspension as Manchester United look to end their week from hell by ending Chelsea’s 40-game unbeaten Premiership record.

Scholes missed the midweek Champions League defeat to Lille but his experience could be vital as United tackle Jose Mourinho’s men, who won twice at Old Trafford last season.

Long-term absentees Ryan Giggs (fractured cheekbone), Roy Keane (broken foot), Gabriel Heinze (knee), Quinton Fortune (knee), Louis Saha (hamstring) and Gary Neville (groin) are all out.
