Switzerland to face Turkey in World Cup play-offs

Ireland's nemeses Switzerland have been drawn against Turkey in the play-offs for next year’s World Cup finals.

The Swiss booked a place in the European play-offs ahead of Ireland following their 0-0 draw with Brian Kerr's men on Wednesday night.

Elsewhere, Spain have been drawn against Slovakia, while Norway will face the Czech Republic.

The ties will take place over two legs on November 12 and 16.
