Butler injury boost for Leeds
Leeds have received a boost after it was confirmed captain Paul Butler has not broken a bone in his foot.
The 32-year-old centre-back could even return to the team to face Luton on Saturday after x-rays confirmed he has not sustained a fracture.
Butler was replaced by Matthew Kilgallon at half-time in the midweek defeat at Cardiff and feared the worst despite having two pain-killing injections prior to kick-off.
Boss Kevin Blackwell will be anxious the former Wolves and Sunderland defender can resume his partnership with Sean Gregan at Kenilworth Road as Leeds look to return to winning ways.
But Blackwell does have the option of starting with Kilgallon should Butler fail to make it, or even handing latest signing Rui Marques an early introduction to Championship action.
