Jenas price cut could tempt Wenger

Arsene Wenger believes Cesc Fabregas can fill the void left by Patrick Vieira’s departure – but would not rule out a move for Newcastle’s unsettled midfielder Jermaine Jenas.

Fabregas, 18, scored Arsenal’s goal in the 2-1 defeat by Chelsea in the Community Shield in Cardiff and looked assured, especially when Gilberto was his partner in central midfield.
