Pat McCourt will make his debut for hometown club Derry City against Bohemians tonight at the Brandywell.

Northern Ireland international McCourt signed for Derry on a free transfer from Shamrock Rovers on transfer deadline day and is expected to start, though Damien Brennan, Stephen O’Flynn and Eddie McCallion remain sidelined for Derry.

Bohemians have serious problems in midfield with player-manager Gareth Farrelly (ankle), captain Kevin Hunt (thigh), John Paul Kelly (suspended) and Mark O’Brien (groin) all out.

It means that Fergal Harkin and James Keddy will have to form an untried midfield axis against a Derry team looking for their sixth successive victory.
