Downing dismisses new Boro deal

Middlesbrough youngster Stewart Downing has opened talks with a view to extending his current contract.

Downing only signed an improved four-and-a-half-year deal last season, but after a phenomenal year with Boro, the left winger looks set to be rewarded further.
