Middlesbrough midfielder James Morrison is the latest injury doubt for beleaguered boss Steve McClaren ahead of tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash at Portsmouth.

Morrison required four stitches in a shin injury sustained during Saturday’s 3-0 FA Cup fourth-round defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

But striker Malcolm Christie is added to the squad after four months on the sidelines recovering from a broken leg.

McClaren, though, remains without Ugo Ehiogu, Mark Viduka, Gaizka Mendieta, George Boateng, Chris Riggott and Szilard Nemeth.

Team (from): Schwarzer, Reiziger, Cooper, Southgate, Queudrue, Doriva, Morrison, Parlour, Zenden, Downing, Hasselbaink, McMahon, Job, Graham, Parnaby, Nash, Christie.
