Rebel Bellamy left out of Magpies Cup squad

Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy has been left out of the squad for tomorrow’s FA Cup fourth-round clash against his former club Coventry following his bust-up with manager Graeme Souness.

The 25-year-old Welshman, who has been the subject of a failed loan enquiry from Portsmouth this week, will play no part in the game and is unlikely to feature for the Magpies again under Souness.

Souness said: “He is not in the squad tomorrow but I would like to talk about what we are going to do tomorrow.”

He added: “I know you would love to hear me talk about it but really it is Friday morning and we have an enormous game tomorrow.”
