Benitez brings back big names

Rafael Benitez insists he will only use his promising youngsters in the Carling Cup semi-finals in the unlikely event of the second leg being a near-formality.

The Liverpool boss, mindful of the shocks produced by the FA Cup third round, wants to guard against any such shocks afflicting his own troops with a potential Cardiff final just a couple of games away.
