Novo brace gives Gers wins
Rangers striker Nacho Novo came off the bench to fire in two goals in as many minutes to down his former club Dundee and put his new employers back on the championship trail.
The 2-0 Dens Park success put Rangers into second place and five points behind leaders Celtic.
Novo expressed his relief tonight after scoring his first league goals for his new club against his former employers Dundee at Dens Park today.
The Spaniard has had mixed fortunes after moving from Dens Park to Ibrox in the summer and has only scored one goal against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League qualifier.
“I needed to score my first goals in the league for Rangers which is good for my confidence,” said Novo.
“I now hope to do that in every game and this was three great points for the team.”
