Rafael Benitez’s Anfield revolution gathered pace today when the Liverpool manager unveiled one new signing and revealed he was close to completing a deal for another.
Just moments after Antonio Nunez was paraded following his arrival from Real Madrid, Benitez claimed he hopes to finalise Xabi Alonso’s move from Real Sociedad before the weekend.
