Gerrard appeased over Reds' transfer policy

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard today revealed he has discussed the club’s transfer activity with new boss Rafael Benitez.

Gerrard pointedly remarked earlier in the summer that he would expect four new signings to be in place when he returned from Euro 2004.
