Fleming offered Darlington contract

Darlington boss Dave Hodgson has offered a contract to former Middlesbrough defender Curtis Fleming.

The 35-year-old former Irish international impressed Hodgson during a recent trial with the club and has been given the chance to finish his career in England back in the north east.

Hodgson told the Northern Echo: “At the moment we can only sign two players, but we have made the decision to offer Curtis the contract now and it will kick in when we come out of administration.”
