Newcastle to honour late Ipswich stalwart

Newcastle boss Bobby Robson has promised to take his strongest possible team back to former club Ipswich for a game to honour the late Dale Roberts.

The 71-year-old, who guided the Suffolk club to FA Cup and UEFA Cup glory during his reign at Portman Road, will return on Wednesday, July 28 to honour the memory of Town’s former assistant manager, who lost his fight against cancer in February last year.
