Roy Carroll has vowed to see out the final year of his Manchester United contract in an effort to grab the Old Trafford number one slot.

The burly Northern Irishman is bracing himself for FA Cup final heartbreak on Saturday as Tim Howard seems certain to retain the goalkeeping jersey for the Millennium Stadium clash with Millwall.
