Keane battles for Cup final fitness

Manchester United are guaranteed a robust FA Cup final warm-up at Aston Villa tomorrow but skipper Roy Keane is now a real doubt for the Millennium Stadium showpiece.

Keane has been troubled by a hamstring problem for almost three months and despite repeated assurances from Sir Alex Ferguson that his midfield inspiration is not far away from a full recovery, the Cork-born star has started just four of United’s last 14 games.
