Mark Viduka has expressed his disappointment at his treatment by Australia’s soccer authorities, but he will not retire from international football.

Viduka is set to miss this weekend’s Barclaycard Premiership match with champions Manchester United at Old Trafford after failing to travel to Venezuela with the national side this week.

Viduka regrets the Australian Soccer Association invoking a FIFA ruling which will prevent him playing against United, especially as he only recently returned to action with Leeds after spending time with his sick father, but he wants to continue his Socceroos career.
