Play-off final evenly balanced after draw

Finn Harps 0-0 Derry City

The play-off final is evenly balanced going into Saturday’s second leg at the Brandywell after Finn Harps and Derry City played out a 0-0 draw at Finn Park tonight.

Both sides had plenty of chances to win the match with Derry’s best chance coming on 31 minutes when a Robbie Hedderman shot forced a magnificent save out of Gary Ramsey.

Finn Harps' best opportunity was a Damien Whitehead effort in the dying minutes when he raced onto Jon Minnock's cross only for his shot to be cleared off the line by Eddie McCallion.
