On-loan midfielder Jermaine Pennant lifted some of the gloom at Elland Road as Leeds moved off the bottom of the table after holding Premiership leaders Chelsea to a 1-1 draw.
In the clash between the have-it-alls and the have-nots, cash-strapped Leeds stunned the Premiership big spenders with a 1-0 victory after the Arsenal 20-year-old robbed Claude Makelele in the Chelsea penalty area, beat John Terry and William Gallas before finishing with his left foot in the 18th minute.
