Newly-promoted Portsmouth head for Old Trafford ready to face the ultimate top-flight test but determined not to kow-tow to reigning Premiership champions Manchester United.

Pompey, who stepped up as Division One champions at the end of last season, are currently lying 11th in the table, ahead of such illustrious Premiership stalwarts as Tottenham, Everton and Leeds but due to take on United in their own backyard on Saturday afternoon.
