Students win gives them glimmer of hope

Robbie Griffin scored his fourth goal in three games as bottom of the table UCD won for just the second time this season.

The only goal of a tight game came on 38 minutes when Griffin was put through one-on-one with keeper Gary Rogers and the in-form striker found the net.

Drogheda had started well but Declan O'Brien and Andy Myler missed vital chances before College took a hold on the game.
