Oldham confident they can survive

Oldham are still confident they can remain in business.

The club’s financial transactions have been suspended, and yesterday they were dealt another body blow when talks with potential investors broke down.

Asked about the threat of closure, spokesman Sean Jarvis said: “It is very serious. “We must stress we are trying to remain optimistic and pro-active in our approach.

“We are doing everything possible and remain confident.”
