Shamrock Rovers pip Drogheda Utd to the post
Drogheda United 1
Shamrock Rovers 2
Rovers scored twice late on to snatch a big win and jump to second in the table as Drogheda finished with ten men.
Andy Myler punished sloppy defending to give Drogheda an eighth minute lead.
But Rovers slowly got back into it, though they left it late.
Trevor Molloy levelled on 79 minutes before Glenn Fitzpatrick won it with a goal right on 90 minutes.
Drogheda defender Brian Kelly was then sent off for a second bookable offence in stoppage time.
