Scots slump to another defeat

Scotland have slumped to another Hampden Park defeat as Austria scored twice without reply in the first half.

Poor defending by Scotland gifted Austria a two-goal lead in a Hampden friendly played in a ghostly atmosphere.

Roland Kirchler and Mario Haas were the men on target in a dismal first 45 minutes for the Scots.

The Scots improved after the break but the damage had already been done.
