Arsene Wenger has decided to appeal against the red card issued to Sol Campbell against Manchester United on Wednesday night.

The Arsenal defender was sent off for alleged violent conduct seven minutes from the end of the 2-2 draw at Highbury when his arm made contact with United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
