Brevett to go straight into Hammers squad
West Ham have signed Fulham left-back Rufus Brevett for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old defender will move across London after five years with Fulham.
Brevett was signed from Queens Park Rangers by former manager Kevin Keegan and has since featured in the side that won promotion to the Premiership in 2001.
Brevett has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract at Upton Park and will go straight into the squad for Sunday's Premiership encounter with Liverpool.
West Ham managing director Paul Aldridge told the club website, www.whufc.com: “We are delighted to welcome Rufus to the club.”
