McCarthy: Robson has right credentials

Bryan Robson is well equipped for the Republic of Ireland manager‘s job according to former boss Mick McCarthy.

McCarthy resigned his post last month after the Republic began their Euro 2004 qualifying campaign with defeats away to Russia and at home to Switzerland.
