Ridsdale - O'Leary backed Rio sale

Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale has once again insisted that David O’Leary did not leave Elland Road because of a difference of opinion over the decision to sell Rio Ferdinand.

Ferdinand yesterday completed a move to Manchester United which could net Leeds as much as £33.3m (€52.2m) for the England defender.
