Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz who branded Germany 'lucky' after seeing his side knocked out of the World Cup in the second round, could be heading for a show down with his German employers.

The 20-year-old entered a war of words with his Bayern bosses after revealing that he is going back to Paraguay to recover from an abductor injury he received during the second round defeat.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge wants the youngster to return to Munich for treatment, but the former Olimpia Ascuncion star has other ideas.

"I will return to Paraguay and get over my injury," he said sternly.
