Anelka agrees terms with City
Paris St Germain striker Nicolas Anelka has agreed terms with Manchester City over a £13m (€18m) move.
City announced that a deal has been agreed in principle with the player and the French club.
The 23-year-old will now undergo a medical this weekend in the hope that the transfer can be completed early next week.
City director of football Dennis Tueart and chairman David Bernstein reached agreement with the player after taking him to see the club's new stadium, which will be used for this year's Commonwealth Games.
The deal is likely to see Cameroon defender Lucien Mettomo moving in the opposite direction.
