International: Delap replaces Keane for friendly

Ireland manager Mick McCarthy has drafted Rory Delap into his squad for the friendly international against the United States later this month.

Delap will replace midfielder Roy Keane, who injured his hamstring in Champions League action with Manchester United last week.

The Southampton player won his last cap for Ireland against Greece almost two years ago.

Elsewhere, Hibernian goalkeeper Nick Colgan retained his place in the squad.
