Soccer: Mahon resigns as Bohemians manager

Pete Mahon has resigned as manager of Bohemians.

His resignation follows a poor start to the season for the reigning league and cup champions.

The Dublin side are in seventh position in the Eircom League Premier Division having only recorded one win from their last 14 games.

Assistant-manager Liam O'Brien will take care of team affairs while the club searches for a new manager.

Mahon took charge of Bohemians after Roddy Collins was sacked over the summer.
