Soccer: Kuffour clinches Toyota Cup for Bayern

Samuel Kuffour scored in the 19th minute of extra time to clinch the Toyota Cup for Bayern Munich in Tokyo.

Kuffour coolly poked home the winner in a chaotic goal mouth melee to sink Argentinian side Boca Juniors.

Claudio Pizarro's header from a Niko Kovac corner was deflected off the line by Boca defender Clemente Rodriguez, but Kuffour was on hand to net the rebound.

The goal, which came after a scoreless 90 minutes, dashed coach Carlos Bianchi's hopes of repeating his victory here last year against Spanish giants Real Madrid.
