Two of Mick McCarthy's main injury worries ahead of next month’s final World Cup Qualifying game against Cyprus announced that they were well on the way to recovery.

Both Damien Duff and Alan Kelly were thought to be doubtful for the game against the Cypriots after Duff suffered a slight tear in his hamstring and Kelly picked up a shoulder injury.
