Galway United 2 St Patrick's Athletic 2

Ger McCarthy kept St Pat's title hopes alive with a late equaliser.

Trailing 2-1 with five minutes to go, McCarthy got on the end of a Gavin Doyle cross to fire home.

St. Pat's appeared in control at half-time after Robbie Griffin's super 32nd minute strike.

But Galway stormed back into the game thanks to Bobby Ryan who levelled with a great goal on 56 minutes and then set up Eric Lavine for the lead seven minutes later.
