Soccer: Cole off the mark in England win

Andy Cole's first international goal helped England to a priceless 3-1 World Cup win over Albania in Tirana.

However, they were made to struggle for long spells before finally breaking the deadlock thanks to Michael Owen's 10th goal for his country with 17 minutes to go.

With just five minutes left Paul Scholes knocked home the second from close range after good work by Cole.

And Cole himself finished the scoring after a mistake by Rio Ferdinand allowed Albania back into the game.
